Beautiful circular tour of about 35 miles leads via Nuuanu Pali and down the cliffs and around the southeast coast of Oahu through Waimanalo and sugar cane country to Makapuu Lighthouse, back to Honolulu on the leeward side, via the Blow Hole, Hanauma Bay, Maunalua Bay and suburban districts of Niu, Wailupe, Kahala.KAILUA AND LANIKAI. A round trip of about 30 miles. Excellent roads lead to beautiful Kailua and Lanikai, residential districts and swimming beaches. (This trip may be made in a short detour from the Koko Head trip on the Kalanianaole Highway.) KANEOHE BAY. An interesting motor tour from Honolulu leads to Kaneohe Bay, site of Kaneohe Naval Air Base. Here also are fascinating Coral Gardens. Liliha trolley coach. PINEAPPLE CANNERIES — The largest fruit-canning plants in the world.
