Then moved to Honolulu where he worked in the pineapple cannery.  In 1914 her husband signed on as a sailor on a British ship.  Children: the oldest worked a mechanic on a small gasoline-powered boat; the youngest sold newspapers. М.И.Субботин работал на  плантации на о.  Мауи, а затем переехал в Гонолулу, где  устроился на работу на  ананасовый завод.  В 1914 г.  глава семьи устроился  матросом на английский  пароход.  Дети: Михаил (17 л.) работал машинистом на  газолиновой лодке, Константин (14 л.) продавал газеты. В 1918 г.
