SALVAGE FOR VICTORY: The salvage campaign is one of young America's important contrubutions toward the winning of the war. Herman Henry Troche, pictured here, is among enthusiastic young Honolulans who have been gathering tin foil for victory salvage. Herman, 8, son of Paul S. Troche and Mrs. Earnesta Troche, was assisted by his brother Paul Jr. in gathering tin foil which was taken to the first aid station in Palama. Herman is in his second year at Robello school and Paul Jr., 11 years of age, is in his fifth year at Kaiulani school.
