Mrs. Anna Topp's poignant plea for help brings a personal immediacy to the bloody events of World War II in the Pacific. The poster was distributed in Palau as part of a mother's search for her son, Irving Topp, who was shot down on Koror, Palau on May 4, 1945 in some of the fiercest fighting between Japanese and U.S. forces.
