Description of the associated story (see Is Part Of): A story of Kyūbei, a teacup shop owner known as "Wankyū," who becomes infatuated with the courtesan Dayū Matsuyama and is ruined. In Part 1, Kyūbei is disowned by his mother in the presence of a potter Seibei.
