From back of print: Brigadier General H.R. McKenzie, Middle Pacific Quartermaster, shakes hands with Corporal Lewis H. Lacy, one of 17 members of the 498th Quartermaster Battalion on Oahu to reenlist for service in the Regular Army. The group was sworn into service in a ceremony in General McKenzie's headquarters.
