About the Collection
The Hawaiian Collection, University of Hawaii at Manoa received an album of photographs from the Margaret S. Fitzharris Trust, Trust & Investment Services, Mount Dora, Florida, via Dana Myers (former Library Development Officer) in 2012.
After consultation with staff of the Preservation department, the loose photographs were put into mylar sleeves. After scanning of the loose photographs and album of mounted photographs the Preservation unit will prepare a proposal for conservation of the album.
Each loose photo and album page was scanned using Epson software on an Epson-GT20000 flatbed scanner at 400dpi, 256 8-bit grayscale resolution.
