Description

MUSIC MAKES MORALE: Music has helped make morale in wartime since the days of ancient Greece and Rome and Carthage. In World War II music is still an enlivening and encouraging influence--especially with the combination of music, a pretty girl and the boys of the army and navy. Here's a group at the Army-Navy YMCA, gathered around the piano and "giving out" on some of the beloved old songs. Left to right- Sergeant Amerigo Berardi, USA: Corporal Jack Hines, USA: Mrs. Dorothy Black, Don Morgan, Charles W. Short and Leonard Ramires, all USN.
