TO SAVE A LIFE: Pharmacist's Mate Homer H. Elsey, USN, of Vinita, Okla., gives a pint of his own blood to the Honolulu blood-plasma bank to repay a 'debt' of three transfusions which recently saved the life of his sister. With him are Mrs. Zadoc Brown, left, Red Cross canteen worker, with coffee and a sandwich, and Mrs. Thomas King, of the Red Cross motor corps.
