Salvage Drive (Soda Water Bottles Contest). Representatives of three schools which won first place in the bottle reclamation project were honored by the Honolulu Junior Chamber of Commerce. James O. Hollowell, project chairman, is shown presenting a $25 check each to, left to right, Isao Uema, representing Waiahole school; Clement Reyes, Cathedral school; Irene McArdle, St. Augustine's school. Also in the picture is Harold W. Boss, JCC president.
