From back of print: Pearl Harbor, Hawaii: In charge of the busiest signal control tower in the Navy 150 feet above the Pearl Harbor Navy Yard, Lieutenant Commander Edmund J. Bodziak, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is shown as he scans the vast panorama of wartime shipping. With the officer, a former attorney in the Quaker City, are three members of his signal crew. From this tower is directed all the incoming and outgoing shipping at the yard.
