Description
From back of print: Sergeant Barney C. Ozella, Creve Coour, Illinois, arrives at Hickam Field after being released from a Japanese prison camp. On Corregidor he served as a machine gunner and personally accounted for five Japanese with his rifle. He was confined in the Bilibid, Cabanatuan, Passay, and Las Pinas Prison Camps in the Philippines. Later he was sent to a camp in Fukouka, Japan where he was forced to work in a steel mill.
