From back of print: Pearl Harbor, Hawaii - A laboratory course in deep sea diving is demonstrated by Chief Watertender Stanley Popielarczyk, U.S. Navy, of Newark, New Jersey, in the training tank at the Pearl Harbor Navy Yard. The tank contains 12 feet of water and was constructed with scrap material. More then 500 Navy Seabees and an excellent crew of civilian divers have been trained for wartime diving in this tank since with war started.
