NEW BLOOD, NEW BANK: Dr. Forrest J. Pinkerton, territorial supervisor of blood-plasm banks, above, inspects flasks of new-drawn blood in the recently completed Honolulu blood-plasm bank on Queen's hospital grounds. Open house for the public will be held Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The new structure stands as a testimonial to the generous response of Honolulans to calls for blood donors.
