Description
STRIKING A BLOW FOR UNCLE SAM: Here are two of Hawaii's lusty defense of war workers, striking a stalward blow for Uncle Sam by purchase of war stamps and bonds. These workers, here by the thousand from all parts of the mainland, are rolling up a great record in purchase of war securities. Saleslady Berta Hoare is taking care of the purchases by Miles M. Corrigan (left), who works at Pearl Harbor; and James J. Ballard, who has been on contract work in one of the "Line Islands" and is now back from that job.
