Description

Cartoon of a mermaid under the sea knitting. At the top of the graphic are three paper decals of shoulder patches pasted on the page.
a. Unguibus Et Rostro means with Talons and Beak. I am not sure, but it may have been the emblem of the 18th Fighter Group, stationed at Wheeler Field in Hawaii.
b. Emblem of what appears to be a winged bullet. Unknown, but it might be a patch that indicates that a person was qualified as an aerial gunner.
c. Kiai O Kalewa means guardians of the upper realm, and is the emblem of the 5th Bomb Group, stationed at Hickam Field in Hawaii.
