The introduction to the first issue says that even though it is difficult to publish a journal, the contents are considered to be of wide interest. The print run was 1,000. Although many of the most prominent literary figures were working for this magazine contributing short stories and poems, the contents are primarily devoted to womens' issues — stories about Hollywood's new movies and stars, how to raise children, new fashions, hairdos, makeup suggestions, and recipes.
