Five central figures; a man with cameras (media news), a man with a briefcase of money (city planning commission), a man with a lei and a shovel, a man in a business suit, and a kneeling woman in a bikini, presenting a key. They stand on land in the process of being developed, while bones and a destroyed tiki lay at their feet. At bottom left: a sign announcing the future site of condominiums. At top left: a bulldozer leveling trees and taro plants; a posted sign reads "Progress Means Paychecks." At top right: a cityscape, a cement truck pouring cement over petroglyphs, and a sign declaring the site to have no archaeological value or hist[orical significance?]. At bottom right: a chainsaw cuts trees into logs. Titled, signed, and dated in pencil below the image.
