Private edition artist book of 100 copies. Each detailed wood engraving printed in black ink is pasted onto a loose board, numbered consecutively in pencil on the lower right. Includes printed title sheet, dedication and list of tiles for each of the fifteen prints. Inscribed in black ink: To Sandy and Dorothy - from the "Bamboo's" to the present kuliana (sic) - some day I hope we call all listen to the sound of the brook. Your Isami. Red paper cover with metalic dot pattern and Isami Doi signature. Black paper covered board slipcase, stapled together at top and bottom with THE WAYWARD MUSE handwritten in silver metalic ink on cover.
