i served on Guam at the 5th Service depot. The camp was called Camp Carr. ( Nov.'48-Nov.49. ) ComMar was the Islands P.W. stockade and navel brig when I was there. The Island was hit with a devistating typhoon during Nov. of 49. I was abourd the U.SS. Gen. Breckenridge, returning stateside when this occured. Camp Carr was hit very hard by this storm.
