Dr. Grace was in West New Guinea(then known as Netherlands New Guinea) from Nov. 3, 1955 through approximately the first week of March 1956. Most of this time was spent in the Jayapura region (then known as Hollandia), with one two- to three-week trip (in 1956) to Fakfak and Sorong.
