This slide is one of fourteen in the Kiste Collection that were shot by a photographer whom Dr. Kiste believes was named Cronkite (first name unknown), though he is unsure if this information is accurate. The images were taken at Bikini shortly before the Bikinians’ initial relocation in early 1946. Slide number 14-K was missing at the time the images were donated to the Pacific Collection.
