From back of print: Photographed after participating in the final review of the Oahu regiments upon release of the Territory's Organized Defense Volunteer Forces from military control are, left to right: Vice Admiral David W. Bagley, commandant 14th Naval District; Lieutenant General Robert C. Richardson, commanding general, U.S. Army Forces, Middle Pacific; Lieutenant General Holland M.smith, commanding general, U.S. Marine Corps Combat Training Center; and Lieutenant General Roy S.M. Geiger, commanding general, Fleet Marine Force, Pacific. Ceremonies were held in the Honolulu Stadium, on 4 July 1945.
