From back of print: Members of the reviewing stand, build in front of the War Memorial Building, await the leading elements of the Armistice Day parade staged for the most part by the Armed Forces in Honolulu, Hawaii. Prominent persons in the stand included, left to right: Major General Clark L. Ruffner, Rear Admiral Sherwoode A. Taffinder, Major General Henry T. Burgin, Brigadier General James M. Huey, Governor Ingram M. Stainback, Lieutenant Colonel John Kilpatrick (U.S. Army retired), Lieutenant General Roy S. Geiger, Vice Admiral Adolphus Andrews (U.S. Navy retired), Mrs. Mary Chung (president of the Legion Auxiliary).
