Description
From back of print: Rear Admiral John D. Price, of Fleet Air Wing Two, disembarking after accompanying a fleet of his big Coronado bombers on the first of four successive attacks on Japanese-held Wake Island. He wore a big grin. All planes returned safely, unloaded 60 tons of bombs, encountered no Japanese fighters, and little anti-aircraft fire.
