(1) WE UNDERSIGNED RESIDENTS OF THE SALT LAKE AREA FIRMLY OPPOSE REZONING TO URBAN USE OF ANY PORTION OF SALT LAKE OR ADJACENT LANDS NOW ZONED CONSERVATION. * THE SALT LAKE AREA IS NOW OVERPOPULATED. * WE HAVE NO PARKS. * ROADS AND SCHOOLS ARE ALREADY CONGESTED. * SALT LAKE, A STATE TREASURE AND HAWAIIAN BIRD REFUGE IS THREATENED WITH EXTINCTION. * WE FACE A DETERIORATION IN ENVIRONMENT AND LIVING STANDARDS IN THIS NEW COMMUNITY.
