This is a representative North Korean philosophical theory magazine published to justify and defend North Korea's guiding ideology and various policies by developing the Juche ideology, the ruling philosophy of North Korea. At the beginning of each issue, papers introducing the government philosophies of Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il are published, followed by papers on major current policies and theories, and papers on general principles of intellectual history and philosophy.
