This book contained information about the history of the patriotic cultural movement. The movement consisted of three stages. At the first stage, from 1870 to 1905, the movements began and became a social movement. The enlightenment movement for modern development was the main and independent movement was occurred at the same time. At the second stage, from 1905 to 1910, the movement developed rapidly and this age was considered as the golden age of patriotic cultural movement. The enlightenment movement to fight against the Japanese invasion mainly occurred. At the last stage, from 1910 to 1919, the movement was decreasing. This book described the beginning, advance, and decrease of patriotic cultural movement, based on Juche Idea.
