Description
Description of the associated story (see Is Part Of): A tragic story of Namitarō and Isoko who were raised as siblings in Aomi family but also engaged since Namitarō is the adopted son. Yet, when Isoko is forced to marry Harumaro, the son of the Yoshino family, the original masters of the Aomi family, heartbroken Isoko dies of an illness and Namitarō remains single for the rest of his life.
Description of the kuchi-e: It appears to be Isoko in the Yoshino family's villa, Senkintei, with beautifle autumn faliage of maple trees, but there is no scene in the story where she gazes at a water basin as shown in the kuchi-e.
